In memoriam

Thank you, Fran

Fran was the creative mind of Maspalomas Pride by Freedom. From his own studio, Layer77 Studio, he created its entire image: every poster, every party and every colour through which the festival has become known around the world. His talent is, and will remain, the image of the Pride.

A message from Fernando Ilarduya

Today, I ask you to join me in paying tribute to Fran. I rarely speak publicly, but today I cannot remain silent. I am deeply saddened to share that one of the best people I have ever known, and someone who played a vital role in Maspalomas Pride by Freedom, has passed away.
He was the creative mind behind so many designs that have accompanied us and brought us joy. We will remember his talent and, above all, the wonderful person he was, someone who left a lasting impression on our lives.
Thank you for everything you gave us. Your creativity is part of our history, and your memory will stay with us.
Rest in peace, Fran.

His work

Edition after edition, Fran shaped Maspalomas Pride by Freedom: its official posters and those of every one of its parties. He created the image of Eurovision Pride Maspalomas from its very first edition. This is part of everything he leaves us.

Freedom Party

For years he was the creator of Freedom Party's image: its nights in Maspalomas and those that carried its spirit to Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Stockholm and the Riviera Maya.
